Prototype · Not for saleCleanCatch™ Disposable Drain Strainer
A disposable, nested plant-fiber sink cartridge concept for RV kitchens. Designed to catch food residue and lift out by two tabs while the permanent drain stays installed.
Price and availability have not been set. Fit, flow, materials, and performance are still being validated.
Ask about this prototype- Two opposed lift tabs are intended to keep fingers away from collected food residue.
- Side openings and base holes are designed to let water drain; flow and wet-strength testing are pending.
- Compact nested refills and an optional reusable fit collar are planned.
- C35 standard and C20 compact drain families are under study. Compatibility is not yet confirmed.

The intended workflow
Drop in. Catch. Lift. Replace.
The concept replaces the part that collects food scraps, with compact refills for life on the road. These steps describe the design intent; final use instructions are pending.
Drop in
Seat a cartridge in a compatible basket or fit collar once the fit is validated.
Catch
Food residue collects in the cartridge while water drains through its openings.
Lift
Two opposed tabs are intended to lift out the mess-contact part.
Replace
Dispose as directed and use a fresh cartridge. The permanent drain stays installed.
Two drain families under study
Fit comes first.
C35 explores standard 3.5-inch drain families; C20 explores compact 2-inch families. These are development directions, not confirmed fit sizes. A measured compatibility list will be needed before release.
Material and disposal
Plant fiber is the material direction. The finished product is not yet certified compostable, and disposal claims are pending.
For prototype handling: never operate a garbage disposal with a cartridge installed. Never flush or place cartridges in an RV gray-water tank. Used cartridges belong in the trash unless approved instructions specify otherwise.
