Privacy, terms and accessibility

Know what the site saves, what it does not promise, and how to use it safely.

These rules explain what stays on your device, what a form stores, how to use directory information, and how NoMadness supports access for different visitors.

Why this mattersThese rules tell you what the site stores, what it does not do, and when you need to confirm information somewhere else.

Affiliate links and measurement

Some trip guides may include clearly labeled affiliate links. When you buy through an active affiliate link, NoMadness may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Ordinary merchant links are labeled separately. Commissions do not change regular directory rankings.

For these guides, we record page views, outbound merchant and source-link clicks, and Yes/Not yet feedback, with a random ID for the current page load. These measurements use no analytics cookies or persistent visitor ID and do not store your trip details, email, raw IP address, or full referring URL. A hashed address is used for abuse-rate limits. DNT and Global Privacy Control stop this guide measurement. Browser settings or connection failures may prevent measurement.

Merchant links open the merchant or its affiliate network directly. Their tracking cookies, attribution, privacy choices, and purchase terms apply there. NoMadness does not observe your checkout. The owner reconciles commissions using network reports containing transaction references, page references, amounts, currencies, dates, and statuses; buyer details are excluded. Contact us about a privacy concern through the Contact page.

Privacy

Trip plans, budgets, checklists, and world-clock settings stay in your browser unless you print or clear them. The site asks for location only after you press the location button, and it keeps that location only for the current browser session. Email forms store the address, selected list, consent, and signup page. The shop bag stays on your device. Sending an availability request saves your name, email, selections, note, estimated prices, consent, and request status for the NoMadness team to review and reply. Requests do not enroll you in marketing or place an order. Do not include payment details. Contact us with your request reference if you need a correction or deletion. Business sign-in uses your email to send a one-time link and an essential cookie to keep you signed in for up to seven days. Sign out to end the session. Sponsor measurement stores the campaign, placement, page path, event type, a random session event key, referring host, and an assigned conversion code when present. NoMadness does not store a visitor's raw Internet Protocol address in its sponsor-event records. Never submit payment information, government identification, medical information, or confidential business records.

Terms of use

Directory listings and planning results help you research an RV, camping, or hiking trip. They are not guarantees or professional financial, legal, mechanical, medical, safety, trail, road-clearance, or reservation advice. Confirm rules, dimensions, fees, access, weather, trail conditions, and availability with the provider or agency responsible for them.

Accessibility

NoMadness is designed for keyboard use, visible focus, readable contrast, larger text, reduced motion, labeled forms, descriptive links, and text summaries of interactive results. If something blocks your access, go to Contact and choose Travelers to report the problem.
